1st cycle completed

I've been lurking on here for a while now. Just wanted to post my results and say thanks for all the informative posts. I've learned quite a bit here.
Due to some unfortunate weather events my first cycle was only 6 weeks cyp at 400mg a week. I went from 159lbs to 176. I'm 5'5" so I felt this was a good amount. Bench went from 340 to 390 and I have rep 375 twice, 350 four.
I've been lifting off and on for over 10 yrs and I use to compete in bench press meets. This kind of gain is just awesome. Thought I'd never bench over 400lbs, but the future is bright now..lol

Right now I'm 22 days from last injection and I'm down to 172 but my strength is still holding for now. I hope to keep at least 168lbs. Started Nolvadex at 12 days 60mgs. Do you guys think I should run Nolvadex for a full 4 weeks?

There's a possibility you might have to run it longer. I ran it 5.5 weeks on my last cycle b/c of a gyno scare.

Should nolvadex be taken half way or 3/4 of the way through a cycle? or just post cycle?

Depends. Normally just PCT, but some guys run it during if they encounter any gyno or just to reduce the amount of bloat that they get while on a cycle. And as an insurance against getting gyno

Thanks guys, I will run Nolvadex at least 4 weeks now.
Maybe I can get a 400lbs bench on my next cycle sometimes next year. Looking for a body weight around 180-185lbs.

damn you are the same height as me, your lifts are excellent. I am a good 20lbs heavier and my lifts are no where near that good!

Thanks, I've always benched alot for my size, but I started young, around 14 years old, I was benching 200 lbs and by age 16-17 I was benching 300-315 with a body weight of 140 lbs. I won quite a few powerlifting meets. I stayed natural all the way up to now at age 27. I just wanted more size now.
I need to focus more on my legs though, I've put them off a long time, I've always worked them, just not as hard.

Here's a novel question about legs while we're on the subject. How much should you still work your legs depending on how sore your leg is from a shot? Is it ok to still lift with it sore or will you do some serious damage. I've been putting off legs on a few occasions due do extreme soreness in the quads, but since lowering, well splitting the weekly shot into two, its not as bad. I'm excited to be able to do some leg work tomorrow since I don't have any pain like I did the last few weeks.

Don't shoot in the legs until after your workout....I always time my shots around my workouts.

Same here...I'm only injecting once a week right now so I don't have any probs with it..I inject on saturday and my leg is sore on sunday and that's it...I do legs on thursday...
