    "Winding" down a cycle

Do you guys see a real necessity for "winding" down a cycle?

Currently I'm 3 weeks away from finishing my first PH cycle, and my dosing was like so:

    weeks 1-2.... 9cc
    weeks 3-5.... 18cc

and in a week i will be starting week 6 and 7, where the manufacter recommends dropping the last two weeks to 9cc like the beggining of the PH cycle.

Is this really necessary? I want to keep the dosage at 18cc for at least week 6, and maybe drop the dose for a week on week 7. Reading threads about AAS, I don't see anybody dropping the dosage, "winding" the cycle down.

The PH is oral, and I do see this often with oral PH. Such popular ones like Superdrol has a similiar recommendation by AX, starting at 10mg progressing to 30mg and then back down to 10mg. Is there some reasoning for this? Maybe less burdonsome on the liver because of a quick drop of supplementation?

These are things you should already have sorted out beforehand.

That said, I see no reason to taper the dosage, but my knowledge of designer steroids is limited.

    True, I should have.

It just took a few weeks to "kickk in" and I want to stay on it for an extra week or so.... but I can't seem to find out why the company recommends the lowered dosings.... its weird

There isn't a great reason for tapering down the dose. Tapering up some ppl recommend so that you can check to see what negative side effects you may get and can keep the dose low if needed.

because staying on at a lower dose would keep you in an anabolic state so to solidify gains, without putting your body at too much risk of culmative side effects from being on high doses for extended periods of time, i winded down my doses on my last cycle in the last few weeks for this exact reason
