I have always thought an anti-e such a nolva or clomid was enuff for pct. Does anyone believe HCG is a must also, has anyone ran a cycle with no hcg and simply an anti-e for pct? if so what were your results and did you keep most of your gains?
Should not be used PCT unless you are desperate, its a prevention drug ideally.
thats what i mean, without using HCG on cycle. If a person does no use HCG and simply performs PCT, how much of a difference of keepable gains should one expect? or does it all relate to how much the balls shrunk, currently im doing a test/eq cycle for no HCG and am worrying that i wont be able to hold my gains after cycle
i think everyone reacts differently in pct... a lcuky few can get away with no pct at all... i think hcg is a greatly added benefit and since its not expensive should be used...u can use hcg after your last inject up until the half life of your aas is over...
Personally on long cycles i have a definate need for it. I feel that it kickstats the body back into producing test. But remember it also causes estrogen to be produced so i reccomend to take it along with nolva. The truth is everybody is different youll just have to make a decision and live and learn with it.
best of luck to you
i must also state that i use it the last few weeks of a cycle so that my testes get a kick start, NEVER TAKE IT DURING RECOVERY. IT WILL RAISE ESTROGEN!
I personally do not agree with HCG use during PCT. The whole point of PCT is to get your HPTA going again and natural test production back up, but in order for that to happen, you need to get your hypothalamus and pituitary gland going along with your testes, which is where I don't agree with HCG. HCG stimulates natural test production by mimicing LH which stimulates the leydig cells to produce testosterone, but it is also suppressive to your hypothalamus and pituitary gland. So whenever you drop the HCG, you will still be suppressed. IMO it's counterproductive for PCT.
