so i was just chilln in bed when i felt my heart poundn semi-hard, not cardio hard but nuff so i got thinkn, had my blood pressure taken and it was 160/100, seems kinda high, im on the test/EQ cycle and wonder if thats whats causen it? would you all say that is high enough to cause concern for my to stop the cycle? im gona take another reading 2marro and see if it has changed at all, i think i may just have gotten nervious reading about blood pressure shit or somethen, idk

My Bp changes big time if I'm on a diet or on cycle....just check it a few times a week...those numbers might be bad.....check it EOD and post what the results are .....120 systolic over 80 diastolicb is very good,,

i just started taking nolva 20mgs a day about 3 days ago, would this help lower my BP by droping water retention? im about 5-9 and 190 lbs

thre are a few inexpensive supplements that could help, even if its in the slightest degree:
hawthorne berry - helps control BP towards the heart
celery seed extract - also helps control BP, and has some liver defense capabilities as it is an antioxidant
Potassium chloride - also known as "sodium free salt", this may be your best one. try using that on some places that you would use salt, which of course raises your BP.
Hawthorne berry and celery seed extract can be found in any vitamin store online or in retail stores, but potassium chloride is rather hard to get to. i havnt searched online, but i know its available in some grocery stores... just ask some employee if they have it, and they might even be able to order it if they dont. its cheap- maybe 3 dollars for a bag of it. you can buy it and cap it if youd like (have maybe 4-6 caps a day, possibly up to 8-9 if its not helping as much) and have it spreaded throughout the day

are you on creatine? im guessing you would know that creatine (monohydrate) raises BP due to it's side effect of water retention. im not sure if CEE has the same effects as there is no water retention, but im not sure about that. if you are really worried about the BP, drop the creatine and save it for PCT
what's your dose of Test. Test itself can raise your B/P. If it continues, try lowering the test dose and raising the EQ to match.

kicka19 your BP is high but not something you are going to die from in the short term. Normal pressure is 120/80....anything above 140/90 is considered "high BP" So you are above normal but nothing that is likely to cause you to drop dead.
My advice to you would be to control your salf intake since you are probably already retaining water, and then I would do an AI like Arimidex, or keep taking the Nolvadex to drop water. Maybe even some lasix to get rid of the water fast.
If you have genetic high BP you might have to get on some meds to help with that. It would help if you knew what your pressure was before the cycle. I know my pressure got up to 160/110 on my last cycle....and that is why I stopped it because I felt like shit.
Anyways keep an eye on that pressure. You don't want it like that for too long of time or you can risk health issues.
Oh and final thought is you shouldn't drink or smoke...smoking is going to constrict your blood vessels making your pressure high. Make sure you drink plety of water and there is a good chance you are getting anxious about it and that is just going to make it worse. Your resting HR of 82 is not horrible, but most likely due to you freaking about about the pressure. My doctor say a HR under 100 is ok. It depends on the person.

hawthorne berry WILL help, but as mentioned before salt is a major issue in BP
As was recommended, keep your sodium intake low. But, you should really look into Potassium Chloride (sodium free salt). In a previous post, I mentioned that but it came out to just be a salt alternative. Ironically, the potassium chloride, which tastes like a bad salt, has BP reducing effects. Potassium lowers blood pressure, and this form is very stable and far more effective(one cap of this salt equals about the potassium of 5 bananas).
After taking it, it will lower your BP after ~15........ so space out evenly maybe 6 caps of that a day (or in some meals/shakes) and you will have the cheapest (and quite possibly most effective) BP control.
Try not to go above 10 caps a day. Too much potassium can be toxic...
How long it keeps your BP down varies from person to person, so cover yourself by taking it at set intervals through your day....
Too much potasium can cause heart issues...not a good idea to take a ton of that stuff to control BP. 1-2 bananas has more than enough potassium for the day. If one cap of that stuff is same as eating 5 bananas then its way too much to even have the 6 caps you say is good.

You sure about that? I can't say I picked up my info from a study, but from a respectable source (just a friend (40+) with experience in PH/AAS). I remember him mentioning that if I were to go after bananas for their potassium content I would be looking at 40 a day, and he recommended at minimum 4 a day..... I also recall him telling me that one guy was up to 12 a day (large man though) to start to see some benefits
surely 2 bananas might have enough potassium for the average person, but it cant be harmful to go above 40 a day (if you were to do that) hahaha
im on test cyp/ deca, take nolvadex and b6, cod liver oil, saw palmetto, and mega men. i also drink at least 15 drinks a week, i am noticeing ab pains recently w/ shortness of breath at week 9, im almost done with cycle and about to start my 2 weeks of HGC then 3 weeks of clomide therapy, cant wait to stop this cycle it was a great cycle gained 25 lbs lean muscle all my buds are complimenting big time right now im 6' 265. week 4 is when noticeable changes came, the drinking was for the pain relief, but i think im cutting out next cycle

Read that. It explains the benefits of potassium and the dangers of having too litle, and too much. It is possible to get too much and have heart issues. As I expected potassium "supplements" should only be taken when monitored by a doctor in combination with heavy diuretics. It even mentions that in supplement form over the counter a potassium pill legally should not contain more than 99mg. Anything more and it should be prescribed. I am almost sure that 1 banana can give you close if not more potassium then that.
