Steroids can be prescribed by a doctor.

Some steroids are used for veternary reasons.

Some "gear" such as insulin is for diabetics and is prescribed by a doctor.

These are legal providing you have a prescription or a licence. Stuff you buy off the dodgy bloke from the gym are illegal.

Yes, Steroids are legal... just not in some places.

The US for example, you cant go and pick up steroids whenever you want. But, certain other countries dont believe in such restrictions. There are a few, Greece and Mexico being two that I know of.

PS - To clarify this, while not legal persay... the cops are just corrupt enough to not bother with it.

Actually, you need a Rx in Mexico now, although I am sure the doc's will give it to anyone that wants it.
And it's very possible that the pharmacies will still sell it to Americans, but it's not legal to do so anymore.
