Topical Steroids

My friend was recently at the doctors office and asked for a prescription steroid and was given this topical gel.
Apparently he gained 18lbs of muscle mass in 4 weeks.
I find this hard to believe.

Anyone hear of something like this?

His complaint to the doctor was simply that he has been working out for years and not able to get any larger. So the Dr. gave it to him.

I know there was a topical gel 1-test at 1fast400 back in the day.
Is it similiar to that.

Androgel is topical test, but it you would have to use a lot to get those results.

Some doctors are less concerned when it comes to older men...40+ thanks to the HRT movement. But if this guy is young then his Doc is a quack to give him steroids.

My girlfriend is a pharmacist technician at CVS and often times fills prescriptions for androgel... I've seen the guys that pick the shit up.. they are monsterous.

Agree and they only give you the amount to cover HRT. Hrt amounts aren't going to put 18 lbs of LBM on a person in 4 weeks.

You sure he didn't gain 18 pounds of ass using prednisone?

My boss was on the stuff for awhile and upon hearing that it was a 'steroid' later became convinced he was more energized, yet after awhile it started hitting him so badly that he learned what it was really about. I told him that most people try to avoid the shit, he would walk several steps and be winded, we seriously thought he was going to die on the shit or have a heart attack at minimum, he looked like walking death in near every sense of the word. Gained lots of weight, none of it good.

Jesus prednisone is one of the worst steroids on planet earth. That shit can be dangerous as hell. It also has to be ramped up and back down or the shit you were just talking about can happen.

The creams Foreman linked are corticosteriods for skin problems. There are now testosterone creams that are a available w/ a presciption.

I spoke to my Dr about possibly starting a cycle of Test to get his opinion and also get some baseline bloodwork. He said if my natural test levels came back low he wouldn't have a problem giving me a script for a Test cream but he said I would lose all my gains after I stopped, guess he didn't hear about HGC and Nolva yet.
