    Help for California

Ok the ither day I had blood work done. While at the lab in San Diego, I asked them about having my blood work done every three months. They informed me in the state of Calif you have to have a work order from a Dr. to get this done.

I then asked them if I had such paperwork could I have uit done in the lab. They told me no as they don't except payments but only insurance. Hell they couldn't even tell me a lab where this can be done at.

Also my Dr won't do this every three months as he said they insurance wouldn't continue to pay it.

What do you guys in Calif do?

This is the way to go: http://www.health-tests-direct.com/Default.htm

There are a couple states with corrupt laws that won't allow this, and CA may be one of them. It says someone on that site, though.

LEF, or Longs. LEF or other folks will have more options though, Longs wont do comprehensive testing, just the basics; bone density, some liver, cholesterol, etc.

I have or had a link to one group other than LEF who can help coordinate, I will try to find.

No. You pay for it, they give you a work order for a local lab. You go in, they draw your blood, in a few days you log on the internet and see the results.

Depends on how comprehensive you want, who does the work, and if insurance is covering any of it.

    Look at the websites.
