Question What to use?

Hey,

For those of us that don't have access to steroids, what to use? I make steady progress with food/ protein shakes, vitamins and creatine, but not as fast as I did when Andro was still on the market. Is there anything left worth taking? There's hundreds of sites that boast the same results in a "legal steroid" or say they have the "same ingredient" as a particular steroid. What's the real story? I don't want to dish out big bucks for a sugar pill.

A while back, I posted a similar question - and heard a lot about what NOT to use. What I'd like to know is what TO use.

CEE and taurine might be a place to start, there are tons of possibilities. Looking at your stats though maybe your diet could use a little tightening?

I agree. Improving your diet way more useful than supplements. What are your goals? What do yo want the supplements to help you do?

Size, mostly. My wife likes me better with more BF... I was pretty torn up a few years back and she thought it was gross (She thinks the "before" pictures are sexier than the "after" pictures in the Xenadrine ads.)

I eat clean when I cook, but every time I turn around, my wife's putting a plate of food in front of me. Not a bad problem to have, I guess. Either she wants me to get really big, or she's slowly killing me... {For example, when I make my eggs, it's two eggs, and two egg whites with a little pepper. When she makes them, it's four whole eggs with Velveta!}

I'm not a fatty, by nature. If I stopped eating and lifting, I would turn into a stick figure. Gaining is an endless battle, though- I could drop 10+ pounds in a few weeks by just by eating a "standard" diet. I'd rather be a little over during the winter, (bulking) season than struggling to keep up. I'll have no problem trimming up before beach season.

Right now, I'm only using NO-Explode, a GNC multi-vit and Protein shakes.

What are you looking for, drug suggestions so you can be 'fatter' without having to eat? It would not be a good idea to screw with your cholesterol and such just to gain easy water weight, because it wont turn into LBM either without the food. Eventually you get used to the increased calories, even though its a bit of a wear on life when you are doing 5k+ for extended periods.

Thats why its either a lifestyle or a hobby.

No, no, no... My goal is to be bigger, (more muscle) not to be fat.

Right now, I look "athletic" when I trim down. My goal is to be "big", even without the BF. Yes, a balanced diet is the foundation for for building a strong, healthy body. What I was getting at is that its easier for me to do heavier workouts when my weight is up and since it's winter, I'm more concerned right now about maintaining weight, not trimming down.

To be clear, I want to grow muscle, not fat. What I meant by my wife liking the "before" pictures better, is that a lot of the guys look "smaller" in the after picture, even though in reality they are more muscular and have lost excess fat. I have no intention to compromise muscle and overall health to get big with fat. A better example would have been off-season pics of pros where their BF is at a healthier level vs. stage pics.

To answer your question: I'm looking for two things: something to help push me through the ceiling, like Andro did and something to help with growth. I wouldn't mind eventually breaking 200 lbs, but I don't think my genes will allow me to do that naturally. And yes, I understand that there is no substitute for a solid workout and that these would be in addition to, not in place of such.
