    Legal Steroids - First Cycle

    1) Age - 20 (21 in May)
    2) Weight and Percent BodyFat - (150-160, body fat % = unknown)
    3) Years of Consistant Training experience (Started ever since 7th grade, during high school went on 2-3 day cycles, and now in college and wanting to step up performances.
    4) Previous Cycle experience - None, just have been using suppliments
    5) Training routine and Diet - Two to three day splits,
    M: Chest/Delts/Tric.
    T: Bi's, back, forearms
    W: Legs
    Thurs: Chest/Delts/Tric
    Fri: Bi's, back, forearms,
    Sat: Legs
    Sun: Off-day
    6) Cycle Goals - I am a soccer player / sprinter for track so cardio isn't a problem. Increase in muscle mass and all around strength while staying cut. I am a Div. I athlete and will check to make sure nothing will violate NCAA drug policy.

I do not want to take any "illegal" steroids and I want to be informed as possible before I start a cycle (if I start one)

SuperDrol,Phera Plex, Halodrol, and Methyl 1-D were some of the anabolics that I've read from threads.

Any information on anything would be great. I'm not 100% sure of wanting to go on a anabolic cycle yet but would like to know all information and do my research.

You are better off doing the real thing some of those things you listed in my opinion are useless and more toxic to the liver than illegal steroids.

I know nothing about them, but i know what a lot of people will say - get a decent weight training program, you're too youg, you're too light.

Save yourself the trouble and check out the training forum, check out the diet forum, and go from there.

Reason for not taking the actual ones is because I cannot stand shots and all of these are orals, plus I am not educated enough yet to take things like that. That's why I am asking/educating myself right now.

All of these guys are making great points. These products that you are listing can be more toxic than the real thing and if you are not ready for the real thing than you are not ready for these designers either.

Get your diet in check and log everything you eat (there are a few free sites that will help you do this ). If you are looking for supplementation for help keep in mind the root word...supplement, as in to aid or help. Learn more about diet and proper calorie intake and possibly pick up some BCAAs, maybe some creatine, and obviously whey. If you are not gaining at 20/21 it is probably your diet.

    Good Luck,

    Thanks for the help guys

I am 5'9-5'10 but there is a lot of cardio and I have never really been that heavy. The most was 160 when I was trying to bulk and eating whatever I could.

Anyways, I'm going with a suppliment cycle stack of IML CEE, Max. Pump, and of course the whey protein.

Intake of calories I will be trying to intake is 4-5000 a day. This will hopefully keep up with my workouts as I will be doing weights and once track season starts, a lot of track/cardio workouts.

A few of things for you to think about.

    1. 5'9'' 155lbs and you've been working out for 7 years? Training protocol and diet need to be revamped.

    2. I'm happy that you're not messing with pro hormones. CEE, whey, and good food should be all you need.

    3. 5K calories a day is crazy at your size. You'll definitely gain weight but the majority will be fat. You need to sit down and figure out what your maintenance calories are and adjust up from there. If you're not gaining, add 250 calories each week to your daily requirements.

I have been working out for 7 years, but you have to think, as a 7th and 8th grader, I wasn't very serious about it.

Freshman-Senior year in high school, I was lifting just to stay in shape and I wasn't lifting for the bodybuilding body. Remember I'm a soccer player and have been playing since I was 4, which is a pretty big reason why I haven't wanted a huge body and a reason why my weight has stayed around 150.

Also, I wasn't really on a strict cycle with the suppliments and my diet and now I want to. Before I would only take post-workout shakes and only on workout days.

The workout I used was GoPro's Power/Rep/Shock routine, but I'm wanting to gain more muscle mass during this cycle.

Based on your stats and goals, I recommend you stay away from steroids. You could negatively effect your athletic progress and health if things don't work out right. Your school should provide the type of training you need. Gopro's program is great for bodybuilders, but I don't think it's ideal for a sprinter/soccer player. Look to make improvement in training, diet, sleep, stress etc. As a college student, I can attest to the negative impact stress can have on strength and athletic progress.

Yea, I got in Friday to get my workout for track this year. I had pretestings on monday and the athletic trainer is making our workout right now and I get it friday.

For track our major component of our workout is going to be our core, but I will post what she comes up with when I get it friday.

I'm going to go with a CEE, Whey, and Max Pump stack.

I'm wondering though how many bottles of max pump should I buy. There are 120 caps in a bottle, and directions are to take 6 daily twice a day. Pre workout and post workout, which gives the bottle to last 20 days. I'm trying to shoot for a month cycle of my stack. Should I go for 2 bottles and then when I start another cycle buy a single bottle, or buy 3 bottles which will last me 60 days (aka 2 cycles of 30 days)

The cee is perfect with 8 caps daily and it holds 240 caps, which is a 30 day cycle.

Last is the whey. I have a little left of my 2lbs tub of ON whey. Should I buy another 2lbs or up it?

Personally I would stick with compound exercises as well as interval training for cardio instead of strictly long distance with a sustained heart rate. That way you will not lose precious muscle and instead stay lean.

What I would recommend beyond that and to be a bit more specific is this:

    ■ Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise, but not body fat.

    ■ Practice and train major lifts: Dead lift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand- these athletes are the most conditioned and functionally trained in the world.

    ■ Mix up and integrate your cardio for intervals with such exercises: Bike, run, swim, row, etc., hard and fast.

    ■ Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.

    ■ Regularly learn and play new sports.

    Hope that helps.
The key to any routine lies in your ability to abandon it for another.
