    Syringe Depth

Does it REALLY matter whether I use a 1" or 1.5" syringe during Test Cyp injections?

I know it has to go deep into muscle to be effective. 1" enough?

It depends where you are shooting, if you are doing glute shots I'd use a 1.5".

I always do Quads injects, easier to reach on alternating Quads each week.
However, how does a person inject into the glutes by themselves?
Please share the specifics on this as I need a change of pace.
    Need details, thanks.

Use mirrors? Lie on your side?
    Use both hands?

look at a mirror sideways, and stick it, key is only to use one hand, idk how you could do it with two anyways

Yep, seems to be the best way. You'll shake a fair amount the first time which will increase the pain in the following days. I still prefer quad injects.

I use two hands even for glutes. Stick with the left hand for right glute and hold, then push with the right hand, Go upper and outer, almost on the hip. Use 1.5 23 ga for glutes, 1" 25 ga for everything else. Draw with 22ga and switch before sticking, Don;t forget to swab everything with a prep pad.

I use both hands and go by feel of the pin, I only use mirrors to see how close to finished the injection is. Studies show maximal absorption through the glutes, how this is I don't know but the shots aren't that hard to do.

There's the big sciatic nerve that runs thru the glutes, it must never be hit by a needle or anything else. So, where do you make your "mark"??
Any graphics available to show the proper mark for injection in glutes??

upper and outer, in other words make a grid w/ 4 quadrants on your ass cheeck then pick the upper and outer most quadrant and shoot in the upper and outer most part of that quadrant and you will then be hitting the upper and outer glutes and avioding the sciatic by a country mile.
