It's not uncommon for movie stars to juice to get fit and diet to make a certain role.
I heard through the grape vine, well lets call it all the vines in NAPA valley, that will smiths personal trainer was questioned by some kind of authorities. He has a new movie out where he is apparently quite buff and it stirred the bee hive of idiots. IN this flick called last man or something of that nature he is buff again. I do remember when he protrayed Ali in a film a few years ago and, well, I had my thoughts about getting that fit so fast. Well, acording to terrible sources he is in the hot seat and is the next victim from Barry Bonds on down the line. Please consider this all BS unless someone can back up with real proof what I just heard via a private unrealiable source email.

I'm not so sure he juiced up for Ali. Kinda doubt it. I'm a Will Smith fan so maybe I'm a little biased, but he trained pretty hard for that role.
Smith may not be as big as Ali but, sitting in his trailer, wearing a white singlet and olive trousers tied loosely at his waist, the usually slim and lanky actor looks imposing. His shoulders are huge and his biceps flex whenever he moves his arms. "I'm sharp," he says, boxing the air in front of him. Smith began training for the role in February 2000 when he first met Darrell Foster, a former middleweight boxer and longtime trainer of former champion Sugar Ray Leonard. "He was out of shape," says Foster. Foster put Smith through a professional training camp: a three mile run every morning, boxing practice for a couple of hours, a high protein low carbohydrate lunch, then watching fight films together before going off to the weight room. "We went to Miami so he could get used to the humidity in Africa," says Foster. At first, Smith dropped 10 pounds to around 190, then he started beefing up, peaking at 224 lbs. "He's great," says Foster, who helped Mann choreograph the fight scenes. "He could fight for real. His hand speed's real good."
In the ring in Maputo, Smith floats like Ali. He backs into the ropes, practicing his now famous rope-a-dope. Punches slam into his thick torso and off his protector-covered head. "He's made himself into a boxer," says Mann. "We box. We don't do stuntmen. We don't do false punches.

I didnt think he was that big for Ali and I doubt hes that much bigger for I Am Legend. Then again, the only big images of him Ive seen is him doing pullups with his shirt off in the movie.
Doesnt mean the personal trainer isnt getting question for OTHER practices.

the guy stays pretty damn fit. and dont forget when your job for 4-5 months before a film shoot is to bulk up and you have a boatload of money for food and a good trainer the results should be in the pudding so to speak. if he did or didnt i dont think its that big of a story to tell you my personal opinion
With the way the media has gear blown so far out of proportion right now, any celebrity could gain 5 lbs of good muscle and they'll claim it's steroids. I think it's total BS personally.

I wish the whole steroid thing would just go away. Give the retard media something better to go after for god's sake please. We have real problems that need to be addressed.

Steroids are of interest to the public. Media jumps on and investigators jump on. That's the way it works.
I would have to say that Will Smith is one of my favorite actors and I hardly doubt that he's juiced up at all. I mean, look at him in all of his films. He's always been fit and in shape in all of them. For the exception of a few, but he wasn't portrayed as someone as a bad ass (The Pursuit of Happiness, Legend of Bagger Vance, 6 Degrees of Separation). If anyones even seen I Am Legend, you can tell that he's actually lost weight from I-Robot. He's really cut, and can tell he's got some strength, but not what he was in Ali or I-Robot. Plus Will Smith just seems like a good role model and doesn't seem like the type of person that would do all of that. Listen to is Rap, doesn't curse in any of his songs except off his first album which was one word, "Bitch". Just my opinion though... I don't think he did it. Think that it's just a rumor...
