Bleeding after injecting
Hey, I just injected 1cc into my right glute. I've done it a few times now and I always pull back on the syringe to make sure I dont hit a vein. This time though when I pulled out the needle the spot I injected into bled quite a bit. I'm wondering if this should be a cause of concern because I really dont feel like having a stroke due to an air bubble causing a clot.

Yah it wasnt too fun; it's been almost 10 hours now and i'm still alive so thats a good thing I suppose haha. That was my second worry though, was that I wasted a shot but it really isnt that a big a deal if I did.

Stick with glutes if possible.

Pulling back on the syringe doesn't tell you if you hit a vein or not, it tells you if you are currently in one or not.
So, you hit a vein on the way in, no biggy. If it gets bad when you do these, take a mental note of where you were hitting it and move it around next time. no worries, if your alive 5 mins after the inject you'll live, just watch infections long term and your straight, as said before youll learn you good spots, mine are delts n glutes, i could shoot 2 cc into a delt EOD no prob, just keep a good rotation up and learn your body, youll be good

I always bled more doing glutes...sounds like you went through a vein and not injected into one...I wouldn't worry about it.
