I have to transfer an injectable from a ugl into a sealed sterile vial. If I wanted to use a filter, is there certain type I should be using, or are all syringe filters the same.

The Classic Range
Classic syringe filters are simply quality filters, well packaged, and offered at a fair and competitive price. The Classic range is available in all of the major membranes including Nylon, PTFE, PES, Cellulose Acetate, Regenerated Cellulose and PVDF which are supplied in 30mm and 17mm formats in virgin polypropylene housings. (Complete product line shown below).
Each individual filter is clearly marked with the membrane type and porosity avoiding any confusion about which filter is being used.
High-quality packaging:
* Integrated dispenser
* Clearly labelled with description and re-order code
* Uses minimal bench space
Unique Quality Dispensers
Perhaps the most obvious difference between these filters and any others currently on the market is the packaging. Both the 30mm and 17mm filters are supplied in unique and innovative plastic dispensers. Simply pull down the dispenser drawer and start using the product. The drawer clips closed again at any time to keep the filters dust free and in perfect condition.
The dispensers use minimal bench space, are clearly labelled with the re-order code and filter description, and keep the product tidy. A quick, convenient and useful package for any laboratory.
Bulk Purchase Opportunities
The Classic filters are priced very competitively too. As well as the 100 pack dispensers, the filters are also available in bulk bags of 1000 at a discounted price. This gives you the opportunity to re-use existing dispenser packs or simply take the discount opportunity.
The Importance of Quality
Despite the attractive pricing, the emphasis is very much on quality. Membranes are supplied by the best names in the industry and the ISO9000 certified manufacturing is carried out to the highest standards, in certified clean room conditions, using the latest manufacturing technology to ensure a high quality, consistent product.
