Starting to get scary side effects during PCT, asking for advice
Hey guys, my cycle looked like this;
Week 1-4 [M1T @ 10mg ED] Week 2-6 [4-AD 1.5g ORAL ED] PCT has been 60mg Nolva ED for the first 2 weeks, then I ran out of Nolva so I switched to 100mg Clomid for week 3 which is what I am on right now..... I have been taking cycle support by AI for blood pressure, cholesterol and liver. And have been eating relatively clean.... I am starting to get racing heart beats and tremors even when I am not being active. Yesterday I was sitting on my couch and I started getting really bad tremors, my body temperature went up high, almost like a fever, and my heart was racing... Mind you it doesnt usually pound too hard, just races..... During my cycle I did run an ECA stack which caused me to have 3 panic attacks and become hospitalized, and I have never been the same since the ECA stack. I was hoping since I stopped taking the oral AAS's, and continued taking my hawthorne, celery seed, red yeast rice, etc... that everything would be cool but just yesterday I felt like I may need to make a trip back to the hospital... If you guys have any idea what might be causing this, ie; nolva (high dose), clomid. I would just assume stop taking the clomid and nolva because I am getting scared but I don't know if those serms cause either of these sides or if I should be looking at something else. I am taking no NO products, no creatine, no stimulants, no coffee. And I am a generally above average healthy person. |

Although i have absolutely zero experience with being on gear i do have some with anxiety attacks and i can tell you this. Once you break the barrier into having them, you seem to be way more predisposed to having them in the future, and for no or little reason, even if off stimulants. The body views stress as stress, not just the stress that you think is stress. And you really have to be careful not to worry yourself into one.

Because last few times I have gone to the hospital and they basically just monitor my heart..... and send me home when they feel like it. Is there any techniques I can use to help? Because these are scary, and I try to stay positive but sometimes it's hard. |

Aside from managing the anxiety...
You could be having a reaction to the clomid that is causing the heart issues. I'd switch to toremifene asap. You likely have some degree of andrenal fatique. Staying off stimulants and taking Reset AD at 3 caps per day can do wonders for andrenal fatique. Just remember that the hospital won't do much for anxiety, so don't look to them to be the solution for that. I would seek medical attention if you think the racing heartbeat is something other than anxiety. |

people with high anxiety need to stay away from gas totally IMO. there is no doubt playing with hormones has a direct effect on pre-existing anxiety problems. what are you on for your anxiety, lorazapam or anything similiar?

I do meditation so thats what I used to help with anxiety. When i found Myself having symptoms I also found myself almost not breathing or taking short breaths. Your body usually tenses up and causes that, and views it all as you also preparing for flight or fight. You have to relax and take longer deep slower breaths like youre trying to meditate. Not too big or else you could hyperventilate some. Now with that being said, I had to get tested for various hormonal problems as well, which I didnt have. So yes stimulants plus anything playing with your hormones may be setting you up for this. Or really, just the hormones issue itself can put you into risk. The other thing is that yes, Just about every heart attack symptom is an anxiety attack symptom. Fun huh?
