My son never left the house when he was 13, and really not until he was like 17. He was a video head and thats all he wanted. Now hes 19 and hes never home, If hes not chasing some girl, some other girl is in the driveway picking him. He matured a little late and we (me and the wife) were happy about that. And belive me, I have had many talks with him about respect and boundries. So I am hoping i see his wedding before i see his child. Old school way.

i have talked to Ty about taking time to think of the girl as a person and considering her reputation and not helping make her that girl who did 15 guys before she was 15. or not making a hot older woman the woman sitting in a prison cell cuz she had sex with a 15 yr old boy. good hearted kids will care about that stuff.

Agreed, being a parent with your head up your ass is no help to raising a child. Boy or Girl. You have to talk to them in real terms and not pussyfoot around. Be staight up and talk to them in real terms that they understand. I also provided condoms to my son. Its the sane thing to do as a responible parent.
