He has a good point there

I agree, having a Black or Hispanic history month is just stupid., I also don't think Morgan Freemen is racist.

I like what he said
Ditto. All races in the U.S. should follow this example!

Freeman has the wisdom of a 100 lifetimes. You can hear it in his voice, and he always had that. Watch some of his interviews, the best one being inside the actor's studio. His intelligence and wisdom shines through him into his characters.
I had never seen this interview before. Lol, he scared the living shit out of Wallace. Wallace was such a bleeding vagina, "I'm Jewish, I'm not white, please don't hurt me Mr. Angry Blackman".![]()

Morgan Freeman isn't racist. Thats just a very solid point. And I agree 100%
However, Prince is Racist towards fat white men in their mid 20's.

Morgan Freeman is a great actor and I agree with his point. I never really liked Mike Wallace. i think he's a haughty prick that gets fed questions to ask people and likes to make people squirm.

Why do black ppl get there own tv station, own history month, better rate at popeyes chickenAre white ppl really becomeing the minority?I'm not racist but I think black ppl think white ppl owe them something. Why can't everyone be equal.

Morgan Freeman is as racist as Bill Cosby.
Just the idea of creating a 'month' for a cultural history is destined to cause more harm than good. The same with labeling "The first black president," or "The first female astronaut;" we're so caught up in this labeling and classifying people that it ends up creating more social barriers that we've spent years trying to remove from our society.
Bill Cosby is another famous celebrity that gets chastised by the black community for speaking out against the problems he sees. I see him as a motivator for change. His words at a too close to home to many of the folks he speaks to. It's a shame really.
Describing someone by the color of their skin should be the same as describing them by height, weight, age; nothing more.
Everybody's people.

Man's a legend. Well said
I agree giving a month or any other special treatment just furthers the gap. but look at life people should stick to there own kind, I think nature progams you like that just look around at a preschool kids dont underste race yet for the most part when kids are left to play they naturaly segragate, same in prison, how about the work place? look at animals lots of diffrent ducks live in the same pond but mallards dont mate or mingle with wood ducks, pigeons dont fuck blue birds. so people should quit trying so hard to make everyone get together and and let life take its course.

Kids don't naturally segregate because of color. They segregate because of of cultural differences in the different socioeconomic groups. A kid is more likely to seek out friends who already talk and act like they do. It has nothing to do with color. Some black kid in the burbs is probably going to play with and behave like the other white kids there. Some poor white kid in the ghetto is going to act like a stereotypical wigger.
Also, nature did not intend for humans to segregate. Nature doesn't intend anything. Nature is a result of an almost infinite amount of mutations and adaptions, not a sentient consciousness that guides evolution along a specific path. If an animal can survive long enough to reproduce, that animal's genes get passed on. It is as simple as that. Also, your example of animals sticking to their own group is what leads to the extinction of countless species. Scientist have brought back numerous endangered animals from the brink simply by introducing distant cousins of that animal back into the population.
When animals stick to their own groups for too long, they become weak. Any new virus or other disease will kill off the whole group. Most genetic diseases are passed down by recessive genes. Interracial breeding can help to prevent that.
I'm not saying everyone should be forced to mix, but it does have biological advantages.

anyone else wanna chime in?

I believe in 'The Selfish Gene' Dawkins goes in to how since the propagation of the gene(s) is by way of natural selection the ultimate driving force of living things that we have developed instinctive ways to tell how much or little another person shares genes with us. Animals will discriminate against those who share little similar genetic makeup. They tend to favor other members of the species that look like them. Of course we also have mechanisms that deter us from mating with someone who's genetic makeup is too similar.
It just doesn't make sense when you consider how much we discriminate on appearance (mainly in regards to mating) that somehow race isn't one of those factors. I think though that this topic is so taboo that scientists tend to shy away from this claim for fear of evolution being seen as evil/racist; because you know there are jackasses out there who will say you shouldn't believe in evolution because it's evil. Actually atheists seem to do this also. The rise of atheism in pop culture I believe is greatly due to it effectively being sold as a moral philosophy. They say we can be good without god as if good and evil really exist. The fact is people regardless of being religious or not so strongly believe in this concept of morality that atheism had to promote a moral philosophy for it to be adopted by a society. There's no reason one has to believe in morality to believe god doesn't exist but all the popular atheists do and it so happens they believe in a morality that is popular within our culture; this is no coincidence. End Rant.
