Even when Romney wins the damage will only be less catastrophic than if the terrorist Obama win. The GOP doesn't have the balls to make the cuts in all the unconstitutional spending that's needed.

I'm stockpiling food and ammo for one thing because it could easily get that bad.

Who said any thing about burning libraries. Romney never said he is going to ensure sesame street is off the air. All he said was cut government funding. When asked how Romney would start with reducing the spending at least he had the balls to say the truth and what he would do. Obama just stood up there praying a teleprompter would appear.

You said cutting public TV isnt worth it because its not even a % of our national debt. People are calculating the over all national debt over x amount of years. We fund 445 million to Public TV. Like I said we have 330 million people in the US. I can think of way better ways to spend our money when people are starving. Lets see here make education more affordable so students don't live off of top roman, provide food for the needy (I do believe in helping the poor just not with cash, would gladly pay taxes if I knew it went to food and not fraud)

It's not so much how small the savings is that bothers me about PBS cuts. It's not understanding the educational edge it gives kids. We had a tight time saving up for a big move and cutting corners meant a lot that winter. In the midst of it a local bookstore went out of business because of the mill closing and I went there and bought boxes of books. Probably the only thing besides antiques anyone could say is a bit above my means would be if anyone added up what I spend on books. I think having two kids that love to read and learn is worth more than what I paid. It bothers me that Romney isn't willing to invest in the education of our youth.

Who's got money to invest in education? We got wars to fund and young men to lead to slaughter.

How is funding PBS when the people who run it are banking all the profits taking away from the kids. If they have enough funds to create a theme park don't you think they have enough funds to provide for them selves.

@hoyle21 Obama is the one who made the HUGE promise to stop the surge and bring back troops in 90 days. It took him all most 4 years and all he did was replace active military with military contracts. Obama is still paying Americans to go fight in Iraq the only difference is what they wear. Obama also is the one responsible for the surge in Afgan and increasing forces over there. They are all hungry for war, the only difference is Obama has continued to lie and make excuses.

it's not like a new president just calls a meeting and everyone does what he says. i don't think Romney can't really say right now what he would do if elected because i'm pretty sure he won't be given classified information until or if he wins and that information probably complicates shit.

I believed in the policy of containment, but the past few times I deployed to fight, I fought to help protect my fellow service members. To help save their lives in the battle field.

As far as Big Bird goes I think he needs to be left alone to be what he is to kids with no political affiliation. Wanting to be left out of it and not ruffle feathers was a perfect answer.

Take big bird out of the equation. The CEO and top guys at PBS and other public broadcasting channels are making free money off of the gov't plain and simple. Just like you preach about daily why are we funding the rich and giving money away. PBS has an entire theme park for seseme street and makes probably more then the gov't funds them off of merchandise. They are not in need of assistance. By Romney stopping funding to them is not going to affect child development.

We are going to war one way or another if it is Obama or Romney. Obama has done nothing to stop the war. The war in Iraq was coming to a close period. Some say we should have been out there a little longer and ect but that was would have ended no matter who was in office. There was nothing really left to do. The war in Afgan should never have started period, as soon as we got the intel that bin laden jumped ship, this was should have been fought with SF and CIA alone. There was no need for a surge.

With Syria and Turkey going to war if the UN calls us for help honestly its a tough call. We fuck our selves over if we do and we fuck our selves over if we don't. The fact of the matter is the American people need to be educated on what is going on in this country with the War and ect. We should not have our blinders on saying it was because of a video when now they just release there was not even a riot, but an all out assault

Is there a political campaign that hasn't been built on manipulation and lies in the past 50 years, probably longer? I'm in no way saying such campaigns are okay but people are making sound like this is the first time in recorded history.
