Thread: Expert: Safety Rules Not Followed in Lion Attack

This girl was one of my coworker's best friend. She used to talk about her all the time and was a mess at work yesterday. Very sad story. To me it doesn't matter whether rules were followed or not she was mauled to death by a lion and everyone who loved her has to deal with knowing she died a horrible death. People making childish or bold mistakes, sad to see them have to pay such a price for it.

From the CNN video, I believe the father guessed that perhaps a holding pit or area was a possible reason she was in the lion's area. She thought the lion was in the holding area when it wasn't or the lion escaped the one section and grabbed her in the other section. A very sad day regardless of whatever fault might be leveled.

People are stupid when dealing with animals especially whites.
Probably equate it to skydiving, doing it because of the danger.

No sympathy for dumbasses.

No human being should have contact with wildlife in the first place.

And you're the dumbass, dumbass. You're making judgments without having all the facts. The CNN report notes that there could have been an issue with a holding area gate where the lion may have been secured but broke free and was able to get at the intern.
