View Full Version : trapped nerve pain!

hi guys iam a new guy to this. I have been lifting weights for 7 years and and before that i boxed for 10 years.Never really had an injury until now.Afer doing a back /biceps workout i got a trapped nerve in my upper back or shoulder blades. it have left me with excruciating pains in both arms running right down to thumbs and next two fingers! the scan showed my discs to be ok.Has anyone else had the same as me and how long did it last? what did you do to get rid of it? I have had it for 5 weeks now and i also have winging in one of my shoulder blades and i cant lift my arm up.Can anyone help?

Yes, I had something very similar a few years ago, my right brachial plexus nerve got pinched, no idea why, saw a few docs who could not figure it out either. My right arm was almost paralyzed and it ended up atrophying quite a bit. Ultimately I rehabilitated it myself once the pain started to subside and I gained use of my arm again.
