Daschund mix. In fact, Mary Retherford said he's her four-legged son.
In people years, Spike is a mere adolescent, but in dog years, he is
more than a century old. So Spike deserves a little credit, and that's
exactly what he gets -- credit card offers galore in the mail. "Here's
a credit card and more credit cards," Retherford said. "We have several
cards here, even credit cards from Sears, applications." Spike is
pre-approved for many of the cards. One company asked for his
signature, so Retherford sent his paw print.

I know of a friend that signed his dog up for the 11 free CD's by BMG and the male actually read, "Astro Kennett" . What happens then is, most likely the CC company gets a listing so they can send "junk mail".
