Pulled muscle in upper back/neck

Hello,
I Pulled a muscle in my upper back/neck
is this common after starting an abb workout?

And has anyone got any advice to get rid of the pain quicker so i can go back to gym?

I pull the same muscle in my neck/trap on occasion... I'm laid out for 3 days on muscle relaxers...
give it some heat/cold... try to get a hot chic to rub it for you... and then return the favor...see what happens.
or just go to a massage lady... visit rubpages.com for special services...

I had one right behind my shoulder blade. Went to a chiro and he fed me a BUNCH of Bs. I finally went to my doc and he got me on muscle relaxers and told me to take 2 weeks off and go back light.
