You learn to perceive the pain as progress, as the stimulus for growth - and if I am not sore the next day I feel disappointed and that I wasted a workout.
True, I agree with cck, "No pain No gain" as they say.. though you can have muscle pain if you have a normal work out and just eat a lot of pineapple. LOL
