How long to feel test?

Started TRT 2 weeks ago. I'm doing test cyp at 100mg twice a week. I know they say the average time to start feeling effects is 3-4 weeks however my testosterone level was only 6 when I started so will it take me longer to feel it? I'm working out 5 days a week followed by 1/2 cardio on those days and my energy level is in the tank.
 
6!!!! Shit man....did you grow a vagina? My T wasn't that low, around 126, and it took about 4 weeks before I felt normal, taking 1/2 the dose your taking. You should be feeling much better in the next week or so, I would think...best of luck to you.

Lol, it's a wonder I didn't grow some labia. First draw was 30 and Dr felt was a lab error so he had them draw it again and yep second time actually came in lower at 6. My freakin estrogen was 13! Needless to say I am hurting and needing this test to pick me up and keep me on my feet. So maybe another week then huh? Hopefully I won't start my fuckin period by then. Thanks bro.
 
I treated it in the first few minutes..For real, I could taste it on my tongue. Are you on pharm grade? I started feeling physically different in about 6-12 hours...good luck bro...

Damn, no kidding? Not really sure what grade I'm using to be honest. I received my first bottle from the TRT clinic but I had received a free bottle from AY for a promotion they were running so I decided to use that first. I figure it should be good quality being its from AY and all but this is the first time I've used any test at all so I have nothing to compare it to. I'm pinning my quads and I know it hurts for almost a week after each pin. I just wish I would start feeling something so I would know if it's working. Hell I'd even be happy tasting it right now lol. Thanks bro.
 
If your using AY they should be good to go. I have heard nothing but good thing about them.. I am going to try them soon... I think you should get your blood work done again soon to see where your at and to make sure there are no other issues going on.. Jusst my 2 cents..

It will take about 4-5 weeks. Rotate quads and glutes for injection sites. AY gear is smooth, so I suspect the PIP (post injection pain) you are experiencing is due to injecting into 'virgin' muscle. Your body will adapt soon.

I have never heard of someone having such a low level of testosterone. Does your doctor have any insight as to why it's so low?
 
6??...wow I have never heard of a total test that low..at first I figured you meant free T but when you stated 30 in a prior lab it must def be total...

I hope to hell your doctor did or referred you for a ultra sound of your pituitary gland....cause you don't get to 6 just cause of normal circumstances..not to freak you out but they need to check for cysts or tumors..

I would insist on this asap....

As for feeling it...it will take another week or so with a average long ester like cyp or E with a number that low...you for sure will feel better..

I'm 3 1/2 weeks in so hopefully just another week then. I don't know if I'm coordinated enough to pin my glute or not lol. You're right about the pip, I was worried about it so I called the doc and that's the same thing he said, foreign substance into new muscle. I was born with an undescended testicle so he said that one has probably always been compromised. I guess the other one stopped making T now as well.

He didn't mention an ultra sound or anything but when we were going over the labs he said my luteinizing hormone was ok so that meant that the pituitary gland was ok?
I'll post up the labs so you can take a peek at them. Maybe all the sponsors will feel bad for me and send me free bottles of test and cialis lol. Right?!

You should already be feeling an increase. Mind you at 200mg a week developing an overall high test level and free test, will take some time.

But after the very first injection blood levels increase right away. Now that your 6-7 pins in, you should be experiencing higher libido, mood changes, better appetite, and so on. Not sure what people mean by 'I can't wait to feel it' it creeps up slowly and there really isn't just one morning your going to wake up and be like TESTOSTERONEEEEE!! when is your next blood panel? If my math is correct by week 6 levels should be near or around 600-700 free test will vary.

Well, I'm not feeling anything yet hence the heading for this thread topic: How long to feel test? I don't know what everyone else means by that but I personally am not feeling increased libido or having better moods, no increase in appetite or strength and still feel very lethargic. I read where people notice a difference in a few weeks but I was inquiring as to how long it might take me to notice changes since I am starting with quite a bit lower test level than most others. Like I said, I've never tried test so I'm not really sure what it can do or what to expect. I was just hoping it would make me feel better, maybe I'm expecting too much. Thanks for your input bro.

Nope never cycled before. He said since I had an undescended testicle at birth that that testicle probably never did work and that the other one was most likely overcompensating for the malfunctioning one all my life and just finally wore itself out. I'm 54 now so I'm sure that doesn't help anything either. The thing is though, I'm not ready to be old, I'm not ready for my shit to stop working. If this TRT doesn't work then what else can I try? HGH? That shit is expensive as hell. I heard something about SERMORELIN being as good as HGH results wise but only costs half as much. I don't know.

Ahh,

That makes more sense. The test alone alone will work wonders for you, just give it some time.

Hgh won't increase test levels but can provide many other benefits for you at your age.

For the time being though test alone will really help you feel better. When is your next blood panel?

Lol, you mean there's hope? I'm going to give it my best shot and just hope for the best. I met a friend on here that competes in Canada and he is mentoring my diet and workouts. With those in place, if this TRT does its job, I should begin to feel like a younger version of myself which would be awesome. Appreciate the encouragement Bro, thanks man!

Clinic said they recheck after first 90 days then every six months after that.
 
After this amount of time i would say drop the underground test and use the medical grade. Quads kill me too you have to keep real steady when injecting. I like my delts the best very easy access and u can watch ur self in mirror.

That actually sounds like a good idea. This is the first bottle of test I've ever run so I think I will try the medical grade now to see if I can tell a difference. Delts probably would be easier for me to hit than glute, maybe I will those at least for a week and give my quads a rest. Thanks bro.
 
What a difference! I pinned the medical grade yesterday in the quad and I have no pip at all today. When I was pinning the AY test my quads would hurt for around 6 days. I also noticed the AY test leaves reddish colored circular bruises at insertion site and the medical grade did not. I don't know what these differences mean if anything but I am happy to not have the pip.

As JerseyDevil stated, make sure you rotate your sites. I learned the hard way when it comes to injecting in the same spot.

The Pharm test is straight cotton seed oil(hence why it went in slower)..AY uses EO to help smooth the injection...some people don't tolerate EO that well..its a small % so its worth using it as it makes for a better exp for the majority..

Has your doctor checked your sperm count?

Did he test your SHBG?..it increases with age...

What was your estrodial value?..it also increase with age...

Figures that I would be in the small percentage that doesn't tolerate the EO right! I think I'll try mixing the two and see if that helps. I know the AY test is gtg too so I hate to not be able to use it just because of the EO oil.

Doc didn't check sperm count or SHBG. I'll see if i can have him do that when next labs are due. Estradiol was 13, twice what my test was lol.

I really wish I could say I was benefiting from the test but I'm honestly not noticing anything yet, well maybe a slight mood elevation every now and then but nothing else. My last two workouts I have actually had to cut back on the weight for a couple exercises due to feeling weaker than before. I just don't understand it. I can't help but feel somewhat disappointed at this point, I really had high hopes that the TRT would be exactly what I needed to get feeling better. I'm going to do like you say though and keep pinning. I know my body needs the test regardless of if I'm actually noticing the physical difference. Lol, Old Farts on TRT sounds like a good name for a forum, I nominate you as moderator. Thanks again bro!
