Hello guys
This is an awkward situation to discuss but I am 38yrs old and have low Testosterone. My doctor (Urologist) had me on the underarm stuff ( 90mg )and my wife started to break out even though I was wearing a shirt when we were intimate. So, he said that he wanted me to start over and be free of it for three months. I was like WTF?! Is there another alternative. He said no and I could see that his ego was showing when he was getting pissed that I would question him. Anyway, I went to my regular doctor and explained my situation and she put me on a patch 9 4mg/24hr). Well, that was working until the 6th week I started to break out from a allergic reaction. From there she put me on injections (1cc every four weeks). Now, since all of this my body feels better, but now my wife and I are having issues in bed. I get started and then not a couple of mins later, NOTHING. I loose my erection. What can I do to counter this, and I am still debating on letting my doctor know.

Thank all.

Its called erectile dysfunction (ED) and its nothing to be embarassed about. There are numerous causes of ED and just as many remedies. Definitely tell your Dr about it so he can assess the cause and prescribe a treatment.

That is is way to low on the injections. you need 1/2 cc min a week. What is your test level i blood and estrogen level. Your prolacitin level could be high also. I prescip of the androgel gel that is something could try. If you cant get them to up the injections. I know some have had success with the 10% test command from one of these script shops.

It's hard to read this when people that went to school for 10+ years are so poorly educated a person who spends a night on IML knows more about hormone replacement options. Her dosing is too low to bring a man up to a high level which it is clear you are in need of. Talk with her and see if she will at least get you to 100mg/wk and demand blood work after 1 month and if its low, tell her you will repeat the process until it gets up to the high end of the range and your sexual function is back to normal. It's a slow process and most doctors are very poor at constructive criticism reception so walk softly but stand firm if she blows you off.

Sounds like estrogen rebound, an AI should straighten you right out. Getting blood work is the only way to know for sure. Don't be ashamed, just ask for help and you will get it. More than likely you don't need Ciallis or Viagra, that is the typical first line of prescription, get one if there handing it to you, but ask about Estrogen levels. The ED meds can be fun... but will not long term fix the issue.

Find another doctor.....maybe one that specializes in anti-aging or alternative medicine.
You need someone that knows what the hell they're doing... These obviously do not!!! I can't believe the urologist suggested to totally come off treatment for 3 months!!! What an idiot!

The test I'm on is Depo-Testosterone 100/ml. I get one shot per month. Ya, even my wife doesnt understand the logic in it. They have my blood work which was baseline for free test: 26 and total test:181.

My doctors nurse just called me back, I asked questions about why so low of a dose. The doctor said that it is normal to start with 100 mg/ml per dose for the first 3 months and then take a blood sample. The ED was said to be fixed by the testosterone.

ED will be fixed by test? Wrong again doc.... A lot of different factors can contribute to ED. Sounds like he doesn't think outside the box.... Estrogen levels, prolactin, etc. it ALL needs to be tested. I would really consider seeking another docs opinion...

That is not going to get you even close to the ballpark. No wonder you are having ED issues. It is like you are on a permanent PCT. Go get your own blood test and post it up here.

Well, since I am not getting anywhere with my doctor. I would like to ask if there are anyplace online I can get Cialis or Viagra? This is the first weekend that my wife and I in 6 months of working that we can be alone without our children. And, of course, I am not getting anywhere sex wise. I do need help.

Wow sorry to hear about your troubles. I also recommend finding another doc. I work with one in the BodyLogics network and he is very good. As for the cialis, I don't think we're allowed to post sources but I'm pretty sure I saw a couple of sponsors on the home page that may be helpful.

Go get some Tadalafil from bluesky and your wood will be fixxed.

Hey guys,
I went online and did some looking on my own with your help as well and learned that there is a half life of 8 days with depo-testosterone (Rx.com, drugs.com, and WebMD.com--which said that it can be 1 or 4 weeks per injection but according to LowT.com it is 1 shot or two per week). So, I called my doctor and told the nurse what I found out and not 20 min later, she said that I can go in next Monday for another shot. It is a small victory but one none the less. Here in my town, there are a lot of meth heads (tweekers) so most doctors are very cautious. I called her out on it that I'm not looking for a "fix" and my damn numbers show it.

Here is an update. I found a place in Greenwood, IN. (LowT Center) and the doctor told me exactly what all of you told me about weekly injections. He told me that he will start with 200mg the first week and then 140mg every week after. He told me that he wants all of his patients at 700 for total testosterone. Also, he will test my blood every six weeks to see where I am and then every three months after. He will also look at estrogen, and PST levels. So, thanks to you all for your help.

Sounds like your on the right track now but even getting the T levels up you have to watch your E2 make sure you keep that in check. No matter how high your T is if you E2 is high your going to have trouble in the bed. But sounds like you found a good doc

If you are seeing an hrt doc now he will be more receptive to your questions and should help get all your levels in check. Most prescribe an AI to their patients and i know some who also will give a 25mg per day dose of stanozalol to decrease shbg and increase free test level. Anyway you should feel better soon from tbe increased test dose. Keep us updated.

Id suspect that doseage and protocol will actually make you worse !! Youve heard of PCT right ? Well thats because your natural production shuts down when exongeneous test is detected. It takes a while before your body works properly again. So what you are doing is getting a slight boost of test, enough to shut you down, but then too little too infrequently to keep your blood levels stable. Id bet if you took bloods right before your next injection you'd see your numbers even lower than before you started TRT.

You are going to have to accept the fact the Dr's are not going to help you. Just keep your script, keep your treatment going, dont tell them but buy some test and administer it at home on a more sensible schedule and dose . All you need for now is to buy some test E, some arimidex or aromasin and needles . You'll be better in less than a month.

Dang man, it sounds like you've had a rough go at it. I hope your new doc is better. I am awaiting my blood test results as I have had some similar symptoms and others as well. Good luck!
