Don't you sometimes wish there were never any steroids or phormones so everyone could be on an even playing field (minus the genetic factor)?

You could also re-word that to say:

Don't you sometimes wish there weren't any genetic limitations so everyone could be on a level playing field, and only skill and talent was the deciding factor?
