I bought 2 large flank steaks (usually pretty lean) and had my father make some homemade beef jerky. His marinade recipe calls for just a little sugar (I think 1/4 cup for all of the meat) and then some soy sauce, worshetshire(sp?) sauce, liquid smoke and spices. He marinates it for 24 hours and then sticks it in the dehydrator.
Does anyone have any idea what the nutritional value of something like this would be?
