free form aminos

i have a bottle of free form amino capsules with "amino protectors" that i havent really used. is this basically the same thing as taking a protien supp? should i take them, or is it just a waste of time since im taking a protien supp right now?

might as well take them, post work-out would be a good time.

Not nearly as many aminos as protein supplements when broken down, so use them, but its no replacement.

Most likely a single serving is not much more than 2 grams at best.
