Oi... I've been looking through some recipies on here and I plan on using some for my diet. Last I checked i was 15% body fat and would like to shrink down to 8-9% fer hockey. my diet used to look like this:
1.) - Toasted wheat bread, peanut butter
2.) - half cup mixed nuts
3.) - usually left over pasta
4.) - pasta w/ chicken
But I think imma go to something along these lines:
1.) French Toast bites (wheat toast, egg beaters n fat free milk)
2.) Oatmeal Apple Muffin or two
3.) Chicken Fajita
4.) A pasta w/ chicken (usually before hockey, get the engergy from the carbs)
5.) Protein shake
Plus I tend to drink at least 8 oz of water on the hour.
My workout isn't anything complex. I don't need bulk for hockey, just speed and control so I do pushups, crunch, plyometrics and 15-20 min run 4 days a week.
So far so good? Or am I taking a step in the wrong direction from my goal?
