Do you think it would be a bad idea to mix my creatine and glutamine together and carry it around. I'm trying to streamline my the stuff I carry around.

Mixing the powders together shouldn't be a problem. Just don't mix the creatine in solution and carry it around.

If you let creatine sit in water to long it becomes creatinine and is useless. It will make you shit water, though.

Hmm... I've read creatine and glutamine should be taken separately for maximum absorption. Is that incorrect?

I believe this is a myth. Glutamine and creatine taken together or a short time apart should be not a problem as they do not compete for absorption pathways.
