Is this any good for a pwo shake? Today I had,

2 scoops of Op nutrition whey /w water
Dextrose (not sure on grms)
2 rice cakes with Natty peanut butter

Anything else I can add to this shake?
stats - 29, 5'7", 155lbs. Just trying to bulk (i guess).

My post workout recovery drink is very similar. I add 50g whey protein isolate, 50g dextrose, 5-10g creatine to a 20 oz shaker cup. I add water, shake vigorously and drink immediately. If I have L-glutimine I will add 5-10g also.
 
how about either the dextrose or rice cakes? and NO PEANUT BUTTER!! :finger: No fats in the post workout shake, this will slow digestion..carbs and lean protein only.

for dextrose measuring purposes- 1Tbs has approx 17g carbs.

thanks, I totally forgot about the fats slowing digestion. :doh:
