I assume you are referring to Olympic (2-inch) weights. I just add collars. They weigh about 1 1/2 lbs each. I have about 5 sets (just used one set to make a set of chains with). I have about 8 sets of those springy things that are claimed to be collars. I suppose you could add a few of those to the bar for added weight. I never use them though. Just do not trust them to hold the weights on the bar.
