Hi everyone. If you have an asian gorcery section/shop near you, look for a baku-teh herbal mix ( pre-mixed spices) in sachets. You throw those in 2l of water some chicken ( or lean pork) pieces, whole ( washed) eggs, some soy sauce and garlic cloves and leave it to cook for a couple of hours ( ideally in a slow cooker).. the herbal taste penetrates the eggs and makes them so delish. Yhe meat turns out yummy too. And the soup is tasty and good for this and that ( I forget for what exactly chinese people say it's good for sorry! .
