I have been out of the supplement scene for a few years and am looking to get back into heavy lifting, therefore I am in need of a Whey protein supplement.
In looking at various labels, I noticed that cholesterol was a major factor in the ingredients chart.
What type of cholesterol are we talking about? I have seen anywhere from 70mg (GNC) to as low as 20mg in others (per serving). Should this cholesterol be considered a good cholesterol, or a bad cholesterol? I am borderline in "bad" cholesterol due to genetics, and don't need to start adding any more "bad" cholesterol to my diet.
Also, Can I mix the Whey products on todays market with water in a shaker, or will it taste like crap?
Thoughts?
