16oz beef mince ( substitute with lean beef or chicken if you wish)
1/2 white onion (chopped)
2 carrots (peeled & grated)
6 closed cup mushrooms ( thinly sliced)
1 crushed clove of garlic
500ml of beef gravy
1 small can of peas
3 tablespoons of oil ( sunflower/ vegetable or olive)
Soy sauce
Brown Sauce
Worstershire sauce
Beef stock cube ( substitute with chicken if using chicken mince)

Heat three tablespoons of olive oil in a large saucepan, add the crushed garlic, then add the chopping onion, stir and cook until soft but do not colour, then add the grated carrot, stir and cook until soft, add the mushrooms and do the same, add mince to man and break up using wooden spoon, and cook until brown, pour over hot gravy and stir well, allow to simmer for 5 mins and then add the extras if you wish to, then simmer for a furthur 10 mins ( simmer for 15 mins if not adding extras). 5 mins before the end of the cooking time add the peas to warm them through.

Serve with either boiled mashed potatoes/ rice and green cabbage.

It looks and tastes good, it's like a cottage pie ( if you have that in the USA) but without having the mash topping becasue I am too lazy to mash the pototoes hehe.
