There is a new book coming out that is on pre-order at Amazon.com about the media's hype over steroid use in sports. I have already ordered myself a copy and I am sure that it would be of great interest to many other IM borthers and sisters.

Some of you may already know the author I am talking about, but I don't think it is my place to say who it is in case he doesn't want his real name linked to his screen name on here.

He didn't ask me to post this. I am just trying to help him out. If you could, at least follow the link and read the discription and see what you think. It is only $16 or so right now. I think they are shipping out around the 1st of April. Support your board and your fellow brothers and sisters.

Support your board and your fellow brothers and sisters.

how would this be supporting this board, and since we don't know who it is how would we be supporting this member?

I can only recall one person who was supposedly writing a book on the topic, but I agree with Robert.

As well as, what if someone doesn't want to buy the book? What if they are not interested in sports or the stupid politics that goes along with it?

Congrats to whoever got the book deal though.

I am not saying that buying the book is supporting the board. Those are two separate statements. I am saying that you should support the board and you should support fellow IM brothers and sisters.

I am leaving it entirely up to the author to identify himself. It is not my place to do so.

It was me, I have no reason to hide. I wrote the porn book.

Thats kind of like doing a Dell commercial and saying, "oh yeah, go to McDonald's too cuz they rock." :D

This was well timed (intentionally or not) with the bonds scandal going on.

I am curious as to what the negatives are to having your name out there? I mean, at the moment, I don't have the funds, however if it was... lets say LAM who wrote the book, I'd dip into my college savings.

Then again if it was IRON MAN i'd avoid at all costs.

Well, I know that I wouldn't want many people to know my actual name in case someone were to try to track some of the posts I have made on here or on other sites.

Almost every writer that I can think of right now has a pen name, in regards to gear (of course most of the writing is based on how to use).

Anyone here live in Vegas? Someone needs to track him down. And when I'm in Vegas, I'm far, far too drunk to cognitively manage the roadways.

LAM is probably fine....I've have not seem him around lately, but I think people get busy. I myself have been wrapped up in personal issues that have limited my time for the internet including chatting on this board.

I plan to get a copy of this book. Good times to the man that wrote it...I hope you make some loot, and people learn from your writings.
