hey all... i need some new ideas for gettin in some protein besides chicken. i will still eat chicken but damn i had the shits the other night and it smelt just like chicken now if ya ask me id say thats a little too much chicken

i eat tuna and have started to eat some steaks and have looked for ones that havent got a lot of fat through them so any suggestion are welcome even new ways to eat the stuff would be good . sorry it is so long and i appreciate all the help i get

Yogurt(nonfat,lowfat) has 8 grams of protein per 1 cup. Lean steak per 3 ounces has 21 grams of protein. Pasta per 1 cup has 4 grams of protein. Tuna is good it has 24 grams of protein per 3 ounces.. Chicken is my fav.. It has 30 grams of protein per 3.5 ounces. If you are tired of chicken which it sounds like there are alot of different receipes for chicken. I have a bunch if you want some of them I would be happy to post them... You can also get some of your proteins from eggs, peanut butter, and whole wheat breads...

I WILL HAVE AN 8 OZ CHICKEN BREAST WITH RICE OR VEGGIES AND SOME TIMES WITH A CAN OF PORK AND BEANS MINUS THE FAT I TAKE IT OUT AND THAT HAS 17G PROTEIN I THINK SO THATS A LOT TO TAKE IN AT ONE TIME...YES PLZ POST SOME RECIPE'S FOR CHICKEN AND WHATEVER ELSE THANK YOU

Ginni, WOW all these food recipes and ideas are making me very hungry. A lot of these look very good. Thanks for posting them.

What do you do? Are you a Nutrition specialist, or is it just a hobby?
 
Nope not a nutrition specialist.. I have been studying for a personal trainer test and all the info is in the book.. The recipes on the other hand, are ones I have found or that I been passed on to me.. I love to cook, but wasn't eating very well and took on the challenge to change my life by eating right and working out regularly.. I like to share what I have learned and hope you all enjoy the food!!

Fish sandwich!!

Get a bag of frozen fish. I like Pollack because it doesn't have the skanky fish heads lookin back at ya!!! Eeeeyouuuuuu!

Cookie tray, aluminum foil, thawed fish on foil, no seasonings. Cook it up, over cook it. Cool it off. Start stuffing it in a blender/mixer. Add seasonings and a wee bit of low fat mayo until you get fish spread!

Mmmmmmmmmmm.

The Oldman likes easy!
