Reasons for sleeping and waking up early...continued
The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."

New Year's Resolution

Hello everybody,
Before I start, let me greet you all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! My name is Joseph and friends call me Jok,I'm 43yo, and weighs 160lbs with a height of 5'5".(pretty overweight huh!.), asian, and IRONICALLY MY JOB IS I'm a group exercise instructor!!! I was diagnosed with HYPERTENSION last May 2003. Since then, my life has changed totally
. I lost the 20lbs in my 10-day confinement at the hospital. I was sad and happy at the same time during those 10 days... sad bacause my likestyle did a 180 degree turn can't drink alcohlic drinks, watch the food I eat and etc... happy because it is during these very low times that one get to realize who one's real friends are. I'm kind of depressed right now with what is happening in my life. I'm not quite sure if this is what they call "midlife crisis". I get tired easily on just about everything which makes me so frustrated at times. When I look at the picture of the people here, I kind of wonder if I could be like them again. I need to lose a lot of weight and it's hard to get motivated when you're depressed and all. I'm not dreaming of being buff and all at my age but at least be healthy or have a healthy lifestyle. Losing the extra lbs is the 1st step. by the way, I'm back to my original weight of 160lbs. Getting started again is the most difficult of all isn't it? At my age, I'm already contemplating on retiring soon and switching jobs. I'm torn between my present job (which I love) and the future job I'm about to get myself into(studied medical transcription) and if this happens I still want to stay healthy and look good, I admire and envy the people I see here who's my age but physically they are like in their 30s. What should I do? I'm hypertensive and lately I'm been diagnosed with reversed spondylolisthesis L2-L3. I need help...
