Haha, look at Ron's chest width in the first pic - particularly in comparison to Phil and even Jays. That is crazy huge. Phil's looking good, though. It will be interesting to see how he comes in at this year's Olympia.

He is phenomenal. I remember standing next to Ron at the British Grand Prix a few years back. I've seen a lot of BB's up close, but Ron looked liked a creature from another planet he was that big.

I do agree that Ronnie's huge but I think he's sacrificed everything for size . His abdomen due to his organomegaly is really distracting .

I agree to an extent. His choice of drugs and goals have harmed his overall physique concerning balance. However, they didn't seem to stop him picking up eight Olympia medals. And besides, nobody's perfect. Aesthetically, Ron does fall down in certain areas (not that I can think of many, mind) like, as you mentioned, his abdominal region. When compared to folks like Dexter, Heath and Martinez, this type of weak point sticks out like a bodybuilt sore thumb. However, he has more than enough in his arsenal to compensate for this (again, eight Olympia titles), and he arguably still has fewer faults in his physique now - on the wrong side of his prime - than many other pro bodybuilders who are currently at their peak. When it comes to sheer size and strength - the very foundations of what make a bodybuilder, in my opinion - the guy's unbelievable. To look at him purely from that point of view, no one can deny he's impressive.

Yeah, me too. I'm a big fan. He has an awesome physique with sick legs, and arms that look like they're from a comic-book hero. If he can nail his conditioning to best show off the size he's added, he could well be the new Mr O. But, like this sport has shown us time and time again, hype can just be hype and we must never underestimate the underdog or the athlete that's been lying low out of the spotlight. Can't wait.
