Anthony Roberts most definitely has it out for Dave and John, but it does not seem that he makes anything up.

I'm very curious about Anthony Roberts' source for this particular blog. Who brought Maria Bezrodnaya to his attention and what was their motivation?

I thought there was a grudge but it seems more that Roberts sees a topic with legs and just really digs in. I just wish he'd dig deeper and take a closer look at Bezrodnaya, the woman who was allegedly injured by the Species product.

Personally, with Species Nutrition's excellent track record and lacking proof that an actual lawsuit occurred, I believe this particular topic is without merit.

Ever since I started logging on RXM, Dave's been a pretty decent guy. I didnt like the latest changes, but eh....Other than these accusatory statements on Dave show the fucking proof dudes!!

I don't think AR makes anything up, he has sources which I am sure he will not reveal, in the end his goal is to write the truth.

Just not sure Roberts achieved his goal this time, Boss.

There's no independent verification of her injury. I'm no lawyer and perhaps I'm phrasing that wrong, but all anyone has to go on is a letter from a lawyer and the word of the alleged "victim".

And that letter from the law firm isn't proof of actual legal action either.

Plus there are no abstracts or reports that back up the idea that a single bottle of Lipolyze will cause liver failure. Zero.

If Roberts was to dig deeper I'm betting he'd find that the woman never sued anyone. She just asked for money.

The law firm was on a fishing expedition.

I could pursue action against you for parking your green Mercedes on my lawn, but no court will award damages if you don't own a green Mercedes.

Likewise this woman's complaint. I'm betting her accusations won't hold up under scrutiny.

Following up on the lawsuit angle, has anyone else read Anthony Roberts' blog for today?

He seems to have adjusted his wording or perhaps I misinterpreted his initial statements about Palumbo, the lawyers, and Lipolyze.

So which is it, there's a lawsuit or there's just a customer "threatening to sue"?

Again, under additional scrutiny I believe the woman's story will fall like a house of cards.

You can't please all of the people all of the time....
I know Anthony personally and he's a stand up author. He does not make up stories and only writes what can be backed up by a source. If he's saying someone "said" it was linked to liver damage..that doesn't necessarily mean he personally believes that is true. It would be a true statement if he is quoting someone else's opinion on the matter..That's how writing an article works. If an author writes an incorrect fact, and it has a legitimate source, the fact is good. Even better if it is repeated over and over. A good example is the RC bust a few years ago that kept saying there were steroids and GH and 30K a day...none of which was true, but all was repeated over and over by a police official, therefore making the statement good to print. Whether or not AR has a beef with Dave, I don't care. I like Anthony and I'm indifferent to Dave. Best wishes to them both.

Cheappinz is correct. Found myself at the pen end of one of those articles once where I forgot to use the words "he said." The fact was false. So therefore I was at fault because I failed to credit the incorrect fact to the person who said it. (Used to be a reporter.)

And BTW, if there IS a pending lawsuit it's public. Just gotta know where to go to get it.

^Roberts has backed away from his strongest statements. If an actual lawsuit exists then I suspect he'd be the first to blog about it. Haven't seen that, so...

Most of AR's blogs have become true ie Houston drug bust involving Lee Thompson...Lee and a few others said he wasnt involved but everything was retracted when AR posted the actually court papers.
I luv his blogs...I read them everytime a new one comes out.

Try and find the town in which the litigation actually took place.

wonder what the next big bust is going to be...Too bad we arent just dirty politicians using tax payers money to hire prostitutes...If that was the case, we'd all get a free pass to "work on our family relationships"...who was that weasel in NY that did just that> the guy that used to demand the max on all his colleagues doing exactly what he did..talk about calling the kettle black. I wish something would happen to him but we all know it won't.
