Species Nutrition requesting censorship from other websites
Species Nutrition requesting censorship from other websites
I’ve been receiving word over the past few days that Dave Palumbo, the owner of Species Nutrition, has been contacting message board owners and requesting that they remove threads relating to the liver failure suffered by one of their customers after ingesting the products Lipolyze and Somalyze.
This has been met with mixed results, with most site owners refusing to remove the threads in question. I’ve also been receiving numerous emails from people who have attempted to post the information on RxMuscle.com (also owned by Dave Palumbo), but have seen their threads and posts deleted, and their accounts banned.
Interestingly, although I’ve spoken to Dave in the past, and he has my phone number, he hasn’t asked me to remove anything. The last time I sent Dave a text message (pictured at left) was on March 4th, when DiscountSupplements (Clapp) bailed out on his advertising deal with RxMuscle. For some reason…Dave never replied to my texts.
It would appear that the safety of his customers is not a priority for Mr. Palumbo or his company, Species Nutrition.
I had a thread deleted on Rx pertaining to the current accusations, but Species Nutrition's track record speaks for itself. The rumored lawsuit is just that. A rumor.
From the information presented in Anthony Roberts' blog, it seems the lawyer representing the alleged "victim" sent a request letter seeking a conversation and nothing more. They apparently wish to avoid litigation and go straight for Palumbo's wallet.
