    Question What's Most Important?

What's most important to you when it comes to competing; being in your best shape ever, or winning? Just curious..

To win...you need to be in your best shape ever

After working so hard to get where you are, of course winning is a desire. But I think the journey is more valuable than the destination, and your performance, attitude, and sportsmanship speaks volumes.

Good to see your here MsFit

    Very well said!

I see two classes of competitor.....those looking to better themselves, their physique, health, life......and not caring about placing....but just doing the "Best" they can. Many go on to other shows w/the desire just to "Look" better than last time

The other person is of a competitive nature.....they want to do well, some want to win.....some want to know that they have just "pulled out all of the stops" and kicked somebody's ass, anybody's.....just to place higher. Winning takes a "Winning Attitute....nothing more , nothing less. It can be done with, or w/o a strong EGO!

Main point that most miss......it seems to be a highly anxious time when on stage. We do this to HAVE FUN RIGHT?

The most important thing should always be doing your best. Hopefully by doing your best you will win, but not always. Winning is not what's important though, it's knowing that you did the best that you could do.

well I want to dominate this sport in about 10 years.. Its all about setting goals for your self. iam doing my first show next year just to get the experience. Then it is building mass for the next couple of years. Shooting to get over 200 pounds of lbm. Which for me being 5'6 is awsome

My goal is always to surpass my own best condition...if I beat "myself" than I've won. That said, I'm pissed if I'm at my best and don't win
