    Jeremy DeLuca resigns from Bodybuilding.com?
    by Anthony Roberts

Alright, this is just in the rumor stage at the moment (*although I’m confidant in saying that I trust my source 100%), but I’m hearing that Jeremy DeLuca, the President of Bodybuilding.com, has resigned from the company. This comes less than a week after S103 voluntarily dismissed their lawsuit against Bodybuilding.com and all parties…although I’m not sure that these events are related, and I’m working on secondary and tertiary confirmation that Jeremy DeLuca has left the building.

Again, although there has been no official word from Bodybuilding.com, it appears that their (former) President, Jeremy DeLuca, has resigned. Because there was no advance warning on his departure, it’s been speculated that the events surrounding it were…unpleasant, and reek of an internal conflict within the company.

Ron from Getbig.com has validated the rumor:

After 12 years at Bodybuilding.com, and a year before that planning bodybuilding.com with his brother, Jeremy DeLuca is going to be leaving Bodybuilding.com in December. Jeremy has elected not to renew his contract, which was for three years, as agreed when the company was sold.

I have known Jeremy for over 10+ years, and he always has been a cool friend. It won't be a clear jump out, as Jeremy is continueing to visit vendors, and will transition out slowly.

Jeremy is only 31 years old, wants to spend more time with the family, instead of traveling a lot and dealing a meeting with over 400 vendors, and will be taking time off for the Holidays. In speaking with Jeremy earlier today, there are only good things to come for someone who helped found a $130 million dollar company.

    From the man himself:

This was one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make but I wanted to let you know that I have decided to move on from Bodybuilding.com. My 3 year executive agreement with Liberty Media has ended and I feel like this was the right time for me to move on! It has been a great 13 years and I can’t say enough how much fun it has been working with great people like you! I know this comes as a shock but I have been thinking about it for a while and know that I am ready to move on and take on the next challenge/business adventure! I will be helping them with the transition so don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything. I will call you as well to thank you for everything and to make sure everything is smooth with the change!

I am ready for a change and to move on and either develop and grow another business or partner up with someone in the industry that I feel I can really make a difference with and help take them to the next level.

    Or run for Governor! LOL

Thank you for everything you have done for me over the years! I am sad to leave but truly excited at the same time!

I would retire if I had the money he has. Or at least take a few years off and then start another business when i got bored.
