I was depressed from eating poorly earlier in my life. This is tried and true for me.

I think it's because I've always known I should have/wanted the physique I have now, and I didn't want to be a lazy fatass. It was literally, not figuratively, killling me.

It is true that eating poorly makes us depress. Researchers from the universities of Navarra and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria have demonstrated that the ingestion of trans-fats and saturated fats increase the risk of suffering depression, and that olive oil, on the other hand, protects against this mental illness.

my mother in law wont listen if i send her this article. she's addicted to taking whatever new thing big pharma and her MD gives her when all she has to do is eat better and exercise rather than laying around and eating chips or Mcdonalds and then huffin and puffin "i'm depressed" and "i have no energy". i gave up a while ago. she gets somethin else wrong with her, just a matter of time once she takes somethin new so its an endless cycle of money for big pharma and the Doc. believe it or not we get along great my mother in law and i though most of the time she just wont believe anything i tell her and is stubborn about it.
