Second Arnold Classic amateur Bikini winner defects to the WBFF
Second Arnold Classic amateur Bikini winner defects to the WBFF by Anthony Roberts
For the second year in a row, the winner of the Arnold Classic amateur bikini contest has defected from the politics-laden NPC and IFBB to the greater opportunities afforded by Paul Dillet’s World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation. Back in 2010, Chady Dunmore won the whole thing, and almost immediately defected to the WBFF. Now, the 2011 winner, Ingrid Romero, has followed suit – departing almost immediately after her victory.
Frankly, there seem to be greater opportunities available in the WBFF, as opposed to the IFBB, where top bikini competitors like Dina Al Sabah are turning tricks on the side, and multiple (the majority of?) competitors are doing hardcore or softcore porn to support themselves. It’s no surprise that girls who are winning major contests are defecting to the WBFF.
Of course, this event has deposited an ungodly amount of sand in the collective vaginas of the Manion family, resulting in a flurry of emails being sent out (and subsequently being forwarded to me), where JM Manion claims that the: “Arnold Amateur Bikini will not be getting any publication time in the NPC News.”
Of course, the loss of publicity has been devastating to Ingrid Romero’s career, as the latest winner of the Arnold Classic…you can find her playing a vampire in the fourth season of HBO’s Emmy Award winning series “True Blood.”
