    That's fantastic news.

I've never been to a Mr. Olympia competition but was there in 1989 when he won the first Arnold Classic.

Chet Yorton guest posed in his 70's, I believe, so Gaspari -- a relatively young man -- could definitely get back on stage. Many bodybuilders who have been at the top echelon of physique simply don't want to be seen.

Read an article where Bill Pearl said he'd never take his shirt off again. lol Don't know if that's true, but I imagine it must be rough to deal with a top 1% body diminishing in any way.

Wishing Rich great success in this endeavor!

I can see Rich inspiring regular people to workout. I'm not sure about boosting Masters BBing.

    Cool!

Why not, everyone else seems to be competing into their 40's nowadays.
Even boxers, and bodybuilders don't get punched in the face 500 times a night!
The journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.

They wouldn't look the way they did in their prime. Could be Trey Brewer all over again.

It will generate "some interest" but it would not revive the Pro Master's League. For that to happen, there would have to be more popular bodybuilders from the past to come out of retirement along with age appropriate sponsorship for it to be successful.

Only if those retired competitors look anything remotely close to what they used to, and that's not an easy feat to accomplish.

Gaspari obviously doesn't need sponsorship, age appropriate or otherwise. However seeing him on stage might get some older people interested in his brand.

I'm referring to the show sponsorship being relative, such as an anti-aging company stepping as a title sponsor. And while Gaspari will get older people interested in the brand, it doesn't exactly translate to money.

The Pro Master's World's in December so we'll see whether its viable or not

It would be awesome to see Gaspari back on stage. While we're at it let's bring back Lee Labrada also.
