I'm on my phone and can't see vids, but I'll guess this is the Valentino interview.
Regardless, this Steve guy is obviously an unusual character.
People are very cautious to be polite when dealing with certain clearly different individuals. Any average person would be asked why they didn't tan or -- more importantly -- why they didn't diet or even, from the looks of it, build any muscle to display.
But ol' Steve gets a pass for a laundry list of reasons.
Apparently, he's a fixture at Steve Weinbeger's and Bev Francis' show. This was Team Universe and they were the promoters, right?
I heard also that he got an ovation? Or that people were cheering for him?
Maybe I'd laugh or be entertained by Steve, but, honestly, he's the last person I want to see on stage.
Or hear interviewed.
Mike Pulcinella called him -- and "bodybuilders" similar to him -- the clueless competitor.
Mentally retarded or cognitively challenged, brain damaged, or simply weird, Steve is nowhere near the level of conditioning, shape, or general appearance to step on a stage devoted to displaying impressive physiques. Not that it matters, but the man can't pose either.
He should be wandering the aisles at Walmart, wearing flip flops and a tank top with baggy shorts and a goofy hat. No way should he be on a posing dais with people who have put in actual work.
