    I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's more likely that what people eat with their red meat might have more to do with this correlation. People don't tend to eat vegetables and water with their double cheeseburgers...they go for fries and soft drinks (more often than not diet soda which is higher in cancer causing chemicals than regular soda).

    For this study to have any merit they would need to study red meat eaters who eat everything else the same as a fish eater or vegetarian. That's a nearly non-existent population though so these studies are just ridiculous in IMO for basing health based diet options on.

    I'm out on that limb too. I'm thinkin' this might be (yet another) study that that is more about correlation than causation.

    Nonetheless, I appreciate the post - keep the studies comin', always worth a read.
