super-slow for comps?
I'm considering training for an October comp and the trainer I click the most with does super-slow training. Is this training enough to get me to my comp physique in 22 weeks?
Thoughts, ideas? Thanks! |

I guess that depends on where you are at currently.
Your profile says female, do you want to do figure, fitness, bodybuilding ? What are your stats Just thought I would beat everyone else to the same questions ![]() |

Oops! I did leave out the important stuff didn't I!!!
I'm training for figure. Currently 135 lbs, 20% BF, 26 years old. I build muscle pretty easily. For example, just finished body for life challenge....lost 8 inches of fat, stayed same weight...so I gained as much muscle as I lost fat. Need anything else? |

For figure I would say it is definately possible.
My trainer has me do slow negatives and then explode on the positive, and she also has me lifting heavy. My opinion would be for figure you should do lighter weights and more reps, but that is my opinion. You should probably consult with a nutritionist. Just my opinion ![]() |
