Nutrition ratio split
Can anyone tell me what a typical nutrient split is for competitors. I find loads of info on what to eat, but nothing on splits. TIA

This is a tough question because different people use different splits. I would say that the majority of people right now are using a lower carb, higher protein approach, with varying amounts of fats. I put most of the competitors I work with on a split like this:
-proteins: 1.5-2 g protein per lb bodyweight -carbs: .5-1.0 g carbs per lb -fats: .25-.5 g fats per lb This is a generalization, but can give you a base to work with. |
