I know your pain, man. I took about a year off, and I just got back into it about three weeks ago. I lost about 20 lbs and a LOT of strength, but in three weeks I've gained about 5 pounds of lean mass and lost a little bit of fat. A lot of that was in the past week, so it should come back pretty fast.

I've heard that if you've had it before, it'll come back fast. That muscle memory will kick in, and you'll be fine. Just stick with it.

Remember this when you're doing sets with weights that used to be your warmups (like I am): You are training for size and strength, not for your ego. Don't worry about what the guy next to you in the gym thinks of you.

Good luck buddy. Let us know how it's going.

be patient man. you aren't going to get all the strength back in one workout. just keep training hard and eating right and you'll be on the fast track back to where you once were and hopefully stronger. just set a realistic goal and go after it. you'll get the strength and size back....good luck!
